Flatbed work doesn't come close to that real hard dry van work. Walking all the way back to the back of the trailer, having to unlatch, swing 2 doors open AND close them. Gotta be careful to not get those pajama pants or track suit dirty.

Otter, whats your favorite work flip flop?

I didn't mean it that way.
Just that gloves wear out fast.

Yea don't be disrespecting those dry vanners! They're a tough breed.

I can't even insult them because I can't come up with anything they actually do, besides just go down the road. Actually I guess backing into those docks does take most of their mental capacity.

Nope. Wish I had thought of that. Reminds me of when I was running up in Wisconsin on a Walmart fleet during winter. I wore my winter coat, jeans, one pair of socks, and a hoodie. I about froze my ### off in the winds with -25 degree windchill factor. I look at some guy walking around like it all was nothing. I asked him how he did it. The layer of clothing he described I hadn't even considered because I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Lol.

Hay now.... that's hitting close to my job description.

I only put about 30 or so trailers a nite into docks....

Unfortunately getting the messed up doors on the cans open is the more challenging part.
