was just reading through some crap on CNN. I am one of those pricks that want to know all sides of the story. This was in their daily on the virus.
"Brazil crisis deepens
Brazil has lost its second health minister in just a month. Nelson Teich stepped down yesterday after clashing with President Jair Bolsonaro over the country's coronavirus strategy. In April Bolsonaro fired his predecessor, Luiz Henrique Mandetta, after a prolonged standoff.
The virus, meanwhile, has spiraled out of control. Brazil reported 15,305 new cases between Thursday and Friday, a record increase. With more than 218,000 confirmed cases, Brazil is the worst-hit country in Latin America.
Even as the number of Brazilians killed by the virus surpasses 14,000, Bolsonaro keeps dismissing the threat and opposing social distancing measures."

Yep, it's scary out there. The threat can't be dismissed, but neither can the economic consequences of shutting down the entire countries ability to work. This is really a Sophie's choice moment, but I've been actively running around the country delivering loads and stopping at truck stops through this entire thing. The only thing I've gotten is a paycheck, cold sweats, a dry cough, a fever, two night in a hotel with said symptoms, followed by more paychecks.
How far do we go to eliminate a viral threat completely? I have yet to hear a definitive answer to that question but I've heard some tossed around answers. September? Come on.....!!!!D.Tibbitt, 650cat425, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this. -
And something on the lighter side.....

I use chemical gloves for fueling. Whatever rubbery coating they have. Like them better.
I found Kinco gloves to be much more value than others. Find them at Runnings, Tractor Supply, Bomgaars, etc.
Here's Buffalo.... you like leather...

The roll up doors appeal to my lazy side... I do not have to get off the truck and open those.
One common carrier that I need to refill the doors for shipping/day shift is all roll ups. Another is mostly roll ups, I try to leave their swing doors in the yard.D.Tibbitt, 650cat425, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
It depends. My daily drivers are Rainbow Sandals luxury leather with the single arch support. They’re about $50 in any retail surf shop. A pair will last about a year worn everyday.
My shower sandals are brand called Surfah. Mostly found in foodland in the north shore or most Hawaiian style shops. These are about $8 and will wear out quicker than a tarp monkey using an eraser on a pencil.
I really wish I was kidding but I’m not. LOLDale thompson, D.Tibbitt, 650cat425 and 4 others Thank this. -

I love watching tarp monkeys back. It reminds how good Van drivers are at it.Lumper Humper, D.Tibbitt, 650cat425 and 3 others Thank this. -
Well. I’ll be in AZ mañana. I’ll be living like a king at the Eloy Petro as long as the restaurant is open. Only supposed to be 96°. I feel lucky.
