good to see Nascar back in action today! also cool to see the Chevy's running up front. they had nothing for Harvick though, he hasn't lost anything with the season delay.

 

Wow i missed it. Did harvick win. ?? Hes had a good car every race this season

 

yessir, held off a late charge from the 88 on a restart and brought it home. Kurt Busch and Chase Elliot came in 3rd and 4th. Kenseth came in 10th in the 42. good to see him back

 

Man i was pumped for kenseths return !! He used to be my favorite driver , him and dale jr. Sucks that kyle larson got canned ! Wonder if he will ever be back ?

They are good eating if the meat is taken care of properly immediately before and after death. Speed goats are usually very wary of predators and danger. At the first sign of a threat they take off at a run. This is not the optimal time to harvest the animal. The adrenaline and increased body temp makes the meat much more gamey tasting, or even foul to the taste.

Once a CALM animal is harvested it needs to be field dressed and cooled immediately and very rapidly. When this is done the meat is very good IMO, but one can definetally tell that is wild game. The flavor of wild game is hard to describe to someone... Most times it has a slight tang or zing to it, and varies widely depending on where the animal lived and what its main food sourse was.

On the video thing...it's one thing I really dislike now. Everything is in video format. I would rather read it, then watch a video. I've always been a reader though. Helps me understand it a bit better if I read it vs watch it. Weird? Maybe, but eh..whatever. Ha!
