lol my hunting will be in the fall/winter. Depending on your hunting seasons there. Not remembering where you're located.

    Honey-Do Update:

The wife's washing machine is fixed!!!! Less than $40 in parts and a total of about 1.25 hours of my time to disassemble and reassemble.

The wife is pleased... As am I. No more spending $50 a week to go to the laundry mat!!!!

I'll make a guess....was it the circuit board, or the pump? pretty much the only 2 things a guy can fix on them anymore lol.

It's a front loader... It I replaced the sensor that tells it the position of the drum, and the harness for said sensor which is also the motor power harness. This particular repair was covered under the 10 year warranty on the motor... But it only covered the parts. They wanted to charge me $250 for the service call to have it repaired!!!

Needless to say I told them where they could shove thier service call and worthless warranty.

Yeah, no way I was going to just buy a new one... It's not even 5 years old and the washer/dryer set cost me nearly $2k.

I know right... My folks had the same washer and dryer from the time they got married until I was in college. I can remember dad having to fix the dryer only twice in that entire time and the washer once...

Everyone thinks that technology is so great, but too often it ends up costing you way more in the long run.

I know this is going to be hard to believe, but Irvin Works is definitely the best of the bunch. Especially when you're a 'regular.'
