What if it Snows?

Sigh, I asked a friend for help in installing a part. Unfortunately he has never heard of having a new crankshaft that is 3 thousandths oversize. Of which I told him I would be installing shim stock under the caps on the connecting rods. Well now he is hounding me with his thoughts as he has never heard of using shim stock.

I have since informed him "Seriously dude, I didnt ask for your help in this matter nor is it your tractor to work on. You helped when help was needed, yet your being a nuisance now". Now I am the bad guy because the wife heard this, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHH! I just cant win.

Now you know why us "Pros" don't go to the Petro in Little Rock.

 

my basic parameters that I am liking are.

I am 1 mile form the hardware store, local tavern, and local Pizza chain in a town of 1k, Winlock, WA

20 minutes of mostly rural (Can easily run State highways rather than I5) from a significant town. Centralia/Chehalis combined are about 20k big enough for wall mart/national chains. Looks like Harbor freight is putting in a loc there also.

45 min to an hour (traffic dependent) from Lacey/ Olympia or Longview/Kelso. If I need to step up the city type supplier game.

And 90 minutes from Portland or Seattle.


Would consider moving up Hwy12 a little but Ice on the road in the winter becomes a concern much past Ethel.

p.s. I trust the Volcanoes over the People to not blow up.

 

Just made reservations for 4 rooms at the swanky Buccaneer at St. George for September. Should be a good time

 

I had to look it up...... So you are not going to St George, Utah as I originally read it?

 

Last I checked, st George Utah had some crappy beaches.
Plus, its not 2 hours from my house.
Should be a very large time with the whole family.

 

But it's only a 2 hr drive to Las Vegas.....

Just pointing out the communication gaps cause by geography. I didn't know there was a St. George in FL. My geographic knowledge rapidly falls off east of the Rockies.........

 

Seems like out east here every other city is named bristol... think i have driven thru atleast 6 "bristol's" in this trip
