Crisis has been averted ... i had pre booked a load for what i thought was friday.. Well with my flat tire fiasco yesterday i had to push back my delivery date til tmrw... and the other load was actually supposed to load TODAY... glad i made that phone call get it rescheduled for tmrw and it was no big deal. I really thought i effed myself on that one

 

I got a D in algebra 101 in college. But I passed and it was the happiest grade I ever got.

Thats because you added extra parentheses... The way it is shown in that screen shot the answer is 16

 

I worked as a custodian in a High School at one time. Mentioned to another custodian that the posters in the Algebra class room were good and helpful. He spread the word. They didn't have the slightest what the posters were talking about. All I could think then was: "I don't belong here."
On the "Stupid Proof". I remember a guy who was a foreman talking to me one time. Said his guys acted retarded so they wouldn't have to do anything.

 

The problem is that most people dont understand that 2(2+2) mean 2 times everything inside the parentheses. If it was written as: 8÷2×(2+2) then the answer would be 16.
