Never saw front stand support on FG trailers. When truck need to go to the shop bobtail the mudflaps required. Once I forgot to remove them, so it was destroyed. The good thing is it was before smartphones in every pocket.

Only problem I had. Part of reason he sent me to get it. Had this trailer that had been wrecked. Front axle literally driven into back. Big repair. So I grabbed the trailer and went. Didn't worry much about inspecting it. On the side wrecked. The back pin wouldn't come close to engaging. The hole on the slide was way off. So written up as a violation. I admit. I didn't think I needed to check it. It was empty and all. Just going back to shop.
Well... owner played with it with a crow bar. Then tried to tell me: See, we can get it to go in. Just have to pull the trailer with a truck now. Sure sure. The holes weren't way off by then. But what the heck did he have to do? It's all screwed up. I still don't think he ever got it. If he pulled. Then jammed the front pin against it's hole.
This is BS. Even if he managed to get it finally. (I left) I'm supposed to do all this fooling around to get the pins engaged when adjusting the trailer on the road? This is BS!
I had disconnected this trailer. Hooked up to my regular. Was supposed to go out late this afternoon. Didn't. Now supposed to be morning. I don' know.... lots of BS
Not only that. Same trailer has about 5 little holes in the side. He went inside and said they're not all the way through. If that ain't good enough for beans than they're too picky. This is BS! They pay good. They deserve a good trailer. No moisture getting inside whatsoever. They don't want high humidity in there getting the beans moisture content higher.
I don' know about this job.... too much BSLast edited: Jun 9, 2020
