I'm a charcoal griller, myself.

For years I used lighter fluid. I didn't believe the "lighter fluid imparts a chemical taste" crowd, my late father being one of the most vocal proponents.

Well, my taste musta changed, because now I find that I agree with him.

I've been using these things called "Tumbleweeds" to start my fire. I can't seem to post pictures, either.

But I think Royal Oak Charcoal makes them. They come 16 to a box and work great.

Without any aftertaste.

 

I used to be a mailman.
