    Here's the thing on that. I hate Freightliners service.

    HATE

    Volvo engine, gotta go to a Volvo shop. Software is proprietary.

    Cummins......sheeeeeeeeeeet, even the kid serving ice cream at The Love's works on Cummins.

    Plus these guys are being aggressive on the price.

    Money talks.......bs runs a marathon.

    I'm not to keen on the multi function joystick shifter thingamajig on the column... To many things on one stick doesnt generally go well when the #### hits the fan and you need to do a bunch of different things really fast.

    I wouldn't rule out a D13 set up. Same warranty.
    They are thousands less as well.

    There was much yelling going on between factory reps and dealer manager.

    But yea, you know me.

    If they have that much issue with 8 days, I really don't need the truck.

    Maybe Peterbilt be on sale next month.

    This is true.

    I like camping. Like all of it...except the bugs. Mosquitoes mainly, but why discriminate..bugs suck.

    I feel bad for you. I'm on the part of my sandbar where I have well water. It looks nothing like that. Our well water is ok. Plus no water bill! Kinda nice. My water doesn't get mistaken for a pee jug though... ;)

    Just saying...

    I will say this... And keep in mind this is coming from a guy that cut his teeth in trucking, driving BIG horsepower, lots of gears, and WAY over weight loads...

    I was very impressed by the D13 I-shift combination (even in the neutered, company version). If I had access to change parameters in the various computers to open this truck up to its true potential I'm sure I would be even more impressed.
