I was 14 when I started... so, nope! My dad and paw paw got me into the business, where you actually COULD .. .at such a tender age.

Here's the 'brand new' (yep!) car from when I was born; too bad I didn't get it, nor do I remember it. :( upload_2020-6-29_14-14-17.jpeg

    ps: Here ya go, @Donk ~! ;) ^^^^

Ya know Tom that thread was hilarious until it went off the deep end. I would literally race to see what ####### crazy drinking and shenanigans happened.

I’m not sure if I ever apologized for my part in that. Sorry man.
It was small or I would’ve been banned like Jackhole and Boaty. But seriously it was like a crazy movie watching those two get blackout drunk and post.

I’m sitting here chuckling to myself and for the life of me I can’t remember one thing other than Boaty get hammered in a hotel while waiting for his truck and then gets back to the yard and gets sent home.

I just hit 39. Glad to see I'm no longer the baby of the group.
Got 19 official years here but grew up with a trucking family.

    And is that a 68? G13?

That was the whole GIST of it, good sir. PattyJ ratted him out, pretending to BE some body named Jackhole, and KT told me it was her all the time.

That's why, anymore, when I get in my 'protective' mode like some so called 'veteran' wants to say smack about you n me.. I step back and let @MACK E-6 handle it. I should have then. Swamp trash thing (can't remember his name....) not @FLSwampRat <<sp? at all.

It was 'fun'while it lasted. JD and Bear are gone from TTR also, so is Adam. W900Snowman. I lost a few Buckeyes; oh well..Live and learn. You didn't really add to the rif raf, bro.. it was there. My fault; trying to save Boat. :(

OBX....a sandbar off the coast of NC.

State - Bbq...eastern style, vinegar based Also known for whole pig bbq. We use it all.

My sandbar is known for..well..seafood. Being as we're roughly two miles out from the mainland, it makes sense.

Runner ups - Pepsi, Cheerwine, Krispy Kreme, and Bojangles. All founded here. Deviled eggs Carolina style hotdog/burger = Chili, slaw and onions.

I love Mexican food. Authentic style.

    Step 1. Catch gator
    Step 2. Kill Gator
    Step 3. Cut off tail
    Step:4 Cook the tail.
Step 5: Swear it tastes like chicken and eat it when ever your able.
Step 6. Enjoy cold beer...You can add this step where ever you feel it's needed.

Yes you can use hot sauce.

Marina next to me used to sell alligator tail. Not sure if they still do. Oddly enough..it's on the Alligator river. There was a bar in northern Va, we used to go to...Fat Tuesdays I think, they sold gator. Was actually pretty good. New Orleans style bar if the name didn't give it away. Sauced they used was similar to the Outback blooming onion sauce. Bit more kick to it though.

    An now I'm hungry.

Good thing I made extra chicken last night on the grill.

Sirscrapntruckalot - Don't let aging get you down. It's to hard to get back up.

This is quite an odd place to unload.

Yes I called safety and told them what was going on and this was how they unloaded people. It’s landstar...I cover my backside.
