40 pounds. The chair had to be more than that. The box was probably 70ish.

I may organize a peaceful trash box weight limit protest.

During the remodel, the old flooring, vanity, sink, and toilet went. I know the toilet has to be better than 40 pounds.

And at some point, you gotta ask yourself, "why is there so many varieties of exactly the same stuff?"

WesternPlains, D.Tibbitt and 650cat425 Thank this.

It was hammered. No self respecting homeless would even take that chair.

Everyone is different... everyone is, or should be, their own person. That's the best reason I can come up with. Otherwise, we'd all dress the same, eat the same, and drive the same cars.

I'm not a furniture guy. You don't make any money on furniture.

When I was making a lot of coin ( I was a commercial electrical contractor ), I had two '70 Plymouth Cuda's in the garage, and probably in the neighborhood of $100K in electrical tools. Owned the house.

My TV sat on the box the computer came in.

Oh and we used to play with the large electrical and hydraulic pipe benders in the living room. Bikes were in there. Cylinder heads, you get the idea.
