Carry a can of grease and a wide putty knife. Grease the 5th wheel, Raise the trailer, back under then lower the trailer down. Your lube will last longer.

Right.....I'm thinking Ginger for a night, Mary Ann for a lifetime.

 

I always use the regular hose and tip, but only squirt it on the bottom half of the 5th wheel. Then I hook back up normally and, more or less, use the 5th wheel plate as the putty knife.
