Guys around here make up shooting targets using, sometimes, an excessive amount of Tannerite. Will be a few loud ones tomorrow. We hear it more close to deer season when the boys are sighting in the rifles but I'm sure we'll be able to feel a few of them tomorrow.

    What do you mean?
My former male dispatcher would send a new load to pick up at the last min, after empty and waiting on a Friday, so that I would have to rush everything and be at the shipper before they closed, sometimes in difficult, hard to find places and the load would be very heavy, and I would have to rush to nearest scale, hoping I would be able to make it legal without having to go back to shipper who would be closed already anyway, and I would have less than one hr to park the truck with no truck stops nearby.... I HATED that...

Yeah... I realized that after posting my comment.... :biggrin_25523:
Me... I used to stay 3 to 4 months on the road pulling broker loads... sometimes no pre-plan.... just rush rush... My company would close at 15:00 hr on Fridays and everybody would rush home and if there were any problem with last minute load... it would be a pain in the neck for me to deal with it...:biggrin_1square8:

My ex-husband and I travelled from CA to OR and then to up state New York and then to Atlanta, GA back in 1993... in that white little truck.... He built walls on it and covered with a tarp making a box to carry all his tools and all our stuff. The trip from west to east lasted one month. We stopped in beautiful parks and touristic places... and the truck had blown up water pump... my ex-husband had to work on it in a rest area...

Hmm i went to a Quaker steak and lube in Pennsylvania. It's 2 chairs 6 + feet of distance at the bar. There is a TA there and an Applebee's.

WOW... everytime I went there, the place was full... and those parking places looked tight... the good spaces were all taken...
