I did look at them on the web and told the bride that is one that could replace what we have. She ordered it and had it shipped here for my birthday. Yeah might have been a little slow getting to it (bday is in April). I'm like you i want to touch it feel it etc. before buying. I have it mostly together now and it is really well built heavy duty everything. Can't wait to fire it upLoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, dwells40 and 7 others Thank this.

Wait. I thought you got a grill. Grills use charcoal or wood to cook.
That there is an outdoor oven. lolLoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, dwells40 and 6 others Thank this. -
When you do get it all done and start using it, let me know how it goes. I like to do a lot of different things, meats, veggies, fruit, so hot and fast, other low and slow.
This sounds sort of counter to grilling, have you ever tried doing watermelon? It is surprisingly good.LoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, Rocks and 3 others Thank this. -
Fair enough. I have a charcoal grill and a smoker too. Seems we use the gas mostly. With the new and better gas burners you would have a hard time telling the difference between the twoWesternPlains, dwells40, Dale thompson and 4 others Thank this.

Flavor. Gas is for long n slow. Like ribbs. But that's just my opinion. I've used both. It's why I'm getting a pellet grill. Best of both worlds.

A gas grill will never replicate the flavor charcoal and wood chips provide... But a gas grill is a WHOLE LOT EASIER to fire up on a moments notice... LolLoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, dwells40 and 6 others Thank this.
