How many volcanoes are there in ID

 

The only ones I can think of is Craters of The Moon — don’t know how many make that up, but it’s a big area.

 

Then you have the western edge of Yellowstone.
Idaho actually had a fairly volcanic past history.

Craters of the moon is impressive. I was just wondering because of all the lava rocks everywhere and of course because some of the surrounding mountains look like they could be volcanic

 

There is that— I barely passed geology in school.

 

I often wonder similarly about trees in the Midwest... Why are there so many #### tree, don't people back there know what a chainsaw is?
