I saw one the other day too.. Looked kinda weird lol

 

Some signs and wonders from the road this week....

I passed by a disabled car on the shoulder. Two guys in yellow vests and hard hats had apparently removed a number of parts from disabled car, and were loading the parts into a clapped-out-looking vehicle, the type commonly referred to as a "hoopdie", "jalopy", or "beater", depending upon your age and location......

I figured "Midnight Auto Parts" now requires full PPE.......


At the truckstop a Hummer Trucking rig went by me, and I thought the same thing I always do when I see one...

"Props to Cal Joe for building a trucking empire from the ashes of his dreams. I mean, one day your Ford cabover gets shot up out from under you by a big evil corporation, your wife leaves you and you're flat on your back in a hospital bed.

A lesser man would have just gone and drove for Schneider, but not Cal Joe. One truck at a time, he built a company worthy of his good name. He's gotta be well in his 70s by now, but I wonder if he's still hobbling around the shop or the driver's room on a cane, greeting his employees by name, asking after their families, finding out how he can improve his company and make more money for everyone......"

Sorry. My mind REALLY wanders on the road sometimes....

Been drivin' all night ... hands wern't on the wheel.... i'm just plumb tired, haha!

 

My kids thought the cloves were like candy. But if you get the wrong kind of chicken it's too soggy and the cloves are applesauce. Yuck.... throw the carrots and potatoes on the bottom and a little rosemary across the top. Drizzle with olive oil and wham....something for everyone. And if you're late getting it out of the oven it doesn't matter. Doesn't dry out.
I miss my kitchen. Can you tell?

 

Question? Do you have termites up there? Down here, you want his price, then his exterminator, then a letter from that exterminator stating there is no infestation, then renew that contract for a year when you close. Continued
liability on the exterminators bond. Just wondered when you mentioned a
damaged wall. Raise your offer 2K, for 10 day acceptance. Play their silly game.
