Where's your new comrade, @farmerjohn64 ?!?!?At least you 'respect' us 'door slammers' Dev. John seems to fly with what he believes is the 'big bois' ... and it unnerves me.
Carry on, folks.. carry on.
Off to work, in a few.
ps; how the EF is Dave? @otterinthewater .. I have NO underscores on my pc, and I can't tag DAVE.
Any INTEL, @otterinthewater ?!?!?
What if it Snows?

Is that really a 'bad' thing? I've known you on here for quite some time, RP. I had the opportunity to buy a WHOLE fleet of five.. from my 'prior' boss.... hauling asphalt. 20 plus under the belt, mortgage the homefront, (3 acres paid) et al.. BUT... somehow I couldn't get the Shelley Company to transfer the contract.... to me. Was going to buy the MC and all.
To this day, I don't know. I really just would have been happy being a 'one truck' wonder.. but ..that was off the planks.
Divorce destroyed him; I tried. I still see Ted runnin 'ole Greenie' in and out of United Precast .. as I head to the Ohio Norte'.....
And YES, @farmerjohn64 and @D.Tibbitt .. I sure DID put my deck time in. Look UP United Precast. A mishmash of stuff... precast, Jersey Barriers, Lennils (not beans, look it up)....
I could carry on. @TripleSix listened to me 'cry' back then.. it's not for all, and y'all that imbibe, kudos and all that... read more. Never stop learning and never let your PRIDE ... divide.
Carry on, peeps.
Hope Dave and the O/M are good.. all I've got to say here...~!
as I head to work..

Lmao dude that swift was the weirdest ever. I litteraly parked in an empty parking lot in the back and here he comes... he backed in , pulled all the way up to get closer to me and started cutting the wheel so hard right at my bumper... i got on the cb..
"Swift ur making me nervous".
Another driver " hes making me nervous and im on the other side of the truck stop" .....
So he gets backed up all the way. Pulls the brake.... Then 2 seconds later i hear him push the brakes in and then he floors it out of the truck stop. I think he was in 10th gear by the time he hit the exit.... swift is so weird sometimes..... I never know whats going thru their head...650cat425, austinmike, Snailexpress and 8 others Thank this. -

Pulling out of the drive, doors secure. Just got this song in my mind. @D.Tibbitt and @farmerjohn64 .. think long and hard about this.. Just saying. (Sometimes y'all open deck guys get a little 'bawlzy' for others... ) Ya know i respect you, Dev. I done p'd John off, in the 'big bois' world.. keep this as token.
Dave has a list; I know, I violated it once. Just listen. There are a few of us that DO care, and Dev, you . . . >>> YOU actually got me back around.
D.Tibbitt, Dave_in_AZ, LoSt_AgAiN and 2 others Thank this. -
Yeah... I unofficially rent (nothing formal or in writing) it from a guy I know. So it has been really laid back, and he has been really good to work with on most things.
It is a REALLY old single wide trailer house... The roof leaks despite multiple attemps to fix said leaks, the pipes freeze at least once every winter due to corrugated roof steel skirting w/o insulation, 2 outlets dont work for unknown reasons, the wind doesnt blow through the house as bad as it used to before I replaced the front door, the furnace is incapable of heating the majority of the house due to poor insulation, before I got a bigger fire place the one bedroom required multiple heavy blankets and long underwear to sleep somewhat comfortably in the winter. Every major appliance has gone caput at least once since I moved in... And I have purchased my own to replace them.
I will miss this house as it was very good for me for many years... But with a growing family, and me not around to stay on top of the upkeep, it just isn't a good fit anymore. It is a perfect house for a young bachelor that is also a good handyman... Not so much for an OTR driver with a wife and 2+ kids.G13Tomcat, D.Tibbitt, tommymonza and 9 others Thank this. -
By the end of it, that's how I felt about my condo. I spent a lot of my life there, a lot happened there, but it was time to move on.
And now I have three beautiful dogs to show for the change of scenery, and they're pretty great.G13Tomcat, Cattleman84, Snailexpress and 5 others Thank this.
