What if it Snows?

There's a really nice no frills motel in El Paso me and The OM found. It's clean. Newly remodeled I'm thinking. Ice cold AC, Ice machines put out tons of ice, good TV, good water pressure and hot water.

Truck parking included. $45 night. $55 with cat.

 

Might try an appliance repair company. We have one. They'll do contract work on warranties. Work for you. Etc. They have used appliances on sale there. Ones people decided to trade for new. They make sure they're good. That's where I got my washing machine.

The AC. Might pick up a portable or window? Might do more than one? Might be able to save money by cooling only the rooms you're in. If you listen to me. Your home might end up looking like BillyBob's dream come true with Binford Model 6100 AC in every window.

 

I must say The OM does get an impressive amount of stuff done when we are home for brief periods like this.

 

They always charge that Double Occupancy for Intelligent Life Forms. They should only charge 1/10 extra occupancy for a cat. That's how big she is.

One time I checked into a hotel with my sweetheart (in the icon pic). She put her front paws on the counter. Acted like she was helping do the business of checking in. I asked her: "Do you see a bartender?"

 

Gotta like the Tool time references.

 

Lady down the highway wanted $96.

This place is a find. It's really clean. It's mostly for truckers. It's across the highway from The Petro at exit 39.

In fact it has a refrigerator and microwave too.

 

Petro? My highly observing intuition tells me there is a take out box in your immediate future.

 

There's been no to go boxes this year.

I popped for a hotel room.

Why? I haven't washed the dog in 3 weeks. Been out. The truck smells like dirty dog. Washed the sheets this morning. Now he is clean as of 1400. Looking for work on Monday.
