The company will assign me a truck.
Just let it sit, no loads to run, pay all its bills and pay me a $1000.00 a month.

can I get the name of the HR person, I’d like to apply for that job.

Are you asking for the monthly fixed cost of ownership?

What type of insurance do you want rolled into the cost. Bobtail? Load? Collision?

License fees will depend on your home state.

That federal tax 2290 (cant find the fee right now).

 

No point in feeling the pain of cost if your not the owner. If your looking to purchase, perhaps you should be asking @Dave_in_AZ about the cost to park a truck. Personally I think the cost is negligable as it isnt consuming anything other than rent on storage. Most of the overhead would be paid for already.

Back in the Great State of California. So pleased to be here. I have to deliver in the LA area in the morning then home to wash off the Midwest and East coast film off my body.

The OM was most gracious to give me some time till Friday morning.

Here’s my plan:

1. Surf
2. Eat tacos
3. Surf
4. Nap
5. Lay on the beach and allow anyone near to bask in glow of my bloated white carcass.
6. Hope they don’t try to roll me back into the ocean to “save me”.
7. Eat a burrito
8. Surf
9. Have a margarita and Guacamole
10. Chase Mrs. Otter around
11. Sleep.

Repeat on Wednesday and Thursday.

Just need to deliver and make it home...hopefully the trucking Gods have some compassion since it’s been since April 1st. since I’ve been there.

 

Does anyone know how much those windows vents should cost? You know the ones that allow you to open the drive and passenger windows without being eaten alive by mosquitoes?

I found a set at the TA in Ontario for $65.
