Yeah dude u saved me an entire week with that detour. I ended up a day late on that load but if i wouldve stayed in ft bridger , they had 80 closed for the next 4 days. I wouldve been a week late, probabaly. Was like 500 extra miles to go up and around but well worth it.

I'd rather run 70 over the big hill than run 80 in the winter. 70 only closesfor a day, 80 can be a week till they get the rigs out of the median and the road clear.

Glad to help anytime I can... A few weeks ago I helped @otterinthewater with some routeing in my neck of the woods. I think it turned out pretty good and saved him some time AND miles.

Would see moose and bison when running 191. Some good sized herds out that way.

You know the Bison are judging the drivers they watch.

I'll gladly say I'm an idiot. @farmerjohn64 thought I was an old hand thanks to what I've learned from you good people. But the day you stop teaching me is when I'm 6' under the earth. You guys are amazing and I love you all as if you were my blood. Old saying, family isn't by blood but by deed. I'll be the first one to help you burry a body. No questions asked. Well other than did the OM approve lol

Yep.. The more the snow melted the more wreckage would show up... Evrything from headlights, to body panels, to entire axles were showing up out of the drifts for months!!!

    They're pretty smart.
Had an old tale around Custer SD. Don't know if even true. This guy, driving a VW Beetle. He goofed up. Didn't see a Bison laying in the middle of the road. He rain up on it before he could stop. Scared as H! .... He backed off the Bison. The Bison just got up. Looked at him. Then walked away.
