Visit the sandbar, the same applies.

If you hurry you can make it in time for the hurricane party. Hell, you could say you hit one in two states for the same storm if you drive fast enough. ;)

No gate codes though on our campgrounds.

We let our campers free range.

Sirscrapntruckalot - FLtoOKwithadetourtoasandbar has a nice ring to it.

Well I just looked over the appraisal on the house I'm buying... I think I did pretty good. It appraised for more than I'm buying it for, and I'm buying it for much less than similar homes in the are have sold for recently. I'm happy...

A little while ago, someone wrote about Rambo, the first movie. The actual title as everyone knows First Blood. I've been kicking back on down time on a route to a popular hunting ground. I've never been a hunter, not even small game. I'm sort of a black sheep because my father, most of my uncle's and cousins are or were. I've had some extended conversation with these men and women as they headed for their
areas and recall talking with the guys in my family. Also, my favorite pastime on off days is watching videos and movies. New ones for me and revisiting old favorites, including First Blood. I've come to the realization that like most Hollywood fantasies, that fillm was 99% BS. The premise was one ' supreme warrior" against a ragtag group of townspeople, country cops, and weekend warrior National Guardsmen.

In real life, a community like the one in the movie would have been heavily populated by people who had been hunting and out door living all their lives. Many would have been combat veterans themselves.
It would have been a fight, but not nearly as one sided as the movie. It's been over forty years since the movie was made and I just came to this thought. I guess I'm a little slow at times. Oh, the Rambo series is still one of my favorite movie sagas. Along with The Godfather, Die Hard, and others like it.

Glad to hear it. Usually works out better, in the end. I don’t know why, but always has for Me. My daughters decided to buy a house. A few delays as usual, meanwhile they just dropped the price, a bit. It never fails. Prices seem very high to Me. But after some research, I see it’s been a steady trend for quite a while. Exciting when it works out. Congrats. God Help you with hanging curtains!!! Lol. I swear I’d rather do ceramic tile, or hardwood, before hanging curtains.

Fuel Taxes, KYU, filed and paid. Now I can sleep well tonight, or this morning, whatever you call it.

    Nothing greater than Godzilla!
When I had money, back in So. Cal. I wanted to enjoy a Sunday afternoon. I'd fire up a ten dollar cigar. Pour a glass of 38 year old Glenlevit. Sit down to a Godzilla movie.

You better check your atlas. I've been up through there twice. There's restricted routes, that are posted. One has a hairpin turn, and you won't make it.
