Found a deal, gonna get it in the morning. Need it to put in 2nd story windows, before winter. Now to find a deal on a set of ladder jacks, and another extension ladder. Just finished up outside. The neighbors are wondering if we’re Vampires. Finally cooled off, 84 today, 72 now, dropping to 64 shortly. Enjoying it. Be safe everyone.

We fell asleep after dinner at like 1800. Slept as rhinoceroses, but weren't really tired.

Now it's 0200, and we can't sleep.

 

Ok which one of you had to make so much noise to get me up at 320 in the morning?

It's a chilly 78 on my sandbar. Got a bunch of thunder and tain earlier. It also appears I may have a unwelcome guest around Monday/Tuesday. I won't mention any names Isaias.

I blame everyone but me. I have witnesses I was nowhere near the scene of the crime.

I didn't make it back to the terminal last night, ran out of hours.

I had a 5am pick for a 7am drop. Told dispatch last night that they were in "wishful thinking mode", and they need to change that to 7am pick and 9am drop.

"Sure, we'll let 'em know."

Get here 7 on the dot.

"Your 5am is here".
"Park him".

Nobody called, nobody changed anything, and I don't get detention 'cause I'm "late"......

Sometimes, I just.........I mean, what's the point of calling dispatch if they're not gonna do their job?

On a lighter note, I got an e-mail from one of the places I applied for a mech job. The interview scheduler will be in touch soon.

 

No sooner did I finish typing my previous gripe, I get called in to load.

This happens to me a lot. Once I type a gripe, it magically disappears!

I bought the most extravagant thing I spent money on in years.

I’ve now had the new seat a day.

Holy ####ing #### this thing rules. I’ve been doing my best to stash loot in case I need it, and I’ve been whining like a ##### about my knee clicking, my neck being jacked up, my butt falling asleep and my legs going numb. My wife told me to just shut up and buy the seat I want...so I did. LOL

I can’t believe the difference it made. I feel I earned it and that makes it even better.
