Posted speed limit of 85 from Georgetown to Austin on the Toll Road. 41 miles, The wags say; "Chevy's, just do all you can".

 

Back in the 80s when I lived in Tampa I got to see Ratt & Bon Jovi opened for them, then two weeks later I seen Kiss and Krokus opened for them. Great shows!

 

Left the Road Ranger for a 9am off load on base, clear the gate and waiting at 830, get a call, the rotator they hired to offload me was involved or tied up behind a fatal mva. Little while later another call, found another truck and he'll be there shortly. Third call, truck is at the gate but can't get in, seems someone neglected to register the brand new truck, after 2 hours, a ticket and some pleading by the mp's they are allowed on base to unload me. Now the operator is scared to hurt the new truck but, after 10 1/2 hours and 26 miles I'm empty and back at the Ranger. I knew things were going too smoothly this trip.

 

I am highly offended !

Hiw many times have you been through SLC during rush hour... Almost guaranteed to be a massively stupid 4 wheeler wreck that backs up at least one side of I-15.

Besides, just the diminished stress level is worth it.

No traffic and no wrecks... Probably 6's

 

Yeah i hate slc at rush hour . It is up there with phx and la.... How far does that parkway go to? Where does it come out ?
