    The wife needed tomato cages. So we went to the local Home Depot and bought a 6 foot square of re-enforcement panel for concrete. They have 8 inch square openings. One panel and four cable ties makes 3 cages. We cut the lower wire off so that we have 8" spikes off the cages (to set the cage in the ground). We have lived here since 2004 and the cages are still holding strong. When was the last time anyone bought a tomato cage and had it last 15+ years?
