Yeah, that's a good size. My old pitty was about that size. I cried when I had to give him away. Loved that dog, but his separation anxiety was so crazy, giving him to a home where somebody is always there was the right move.

Oh, and Finnegan is likely closer to three times the size of our pits than two. He just hasn't been weighed in a while.
He's 15 months old. LolLoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
I had that issues with both of them. Former pittie turned into my wife's dog, but at nearly 15 we had to put her down a few months ago.. Dasha was supposed to be her dog, but she's a daddies girl.LoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains, LtlAnonymous and 1 other person Thank this.

I had a pit, with separation anxiety. Pretty sure because She and 5 other pups were abandoned, What a great Dog. Brindle Strattfordshire Terrier. I’d set her up in my lap, paws on the wheel, when stuck in traffic, kick back in the seat and wait for kids to notice!! I called her Daisy the Truck Driving pitbull. Leave her alone in the Truck though, she’d act out, once crapped on my pillow!! I finally got her trained well, but she really tried my patience. Smartest Dog I’ve ever had.

Wife and I learned Dasha is TOO ###### SMART. We had left the truck idling while we went in for a shower at a Loves in Nebraska, and triple digit temperature on the blacktop. I got back to the truck first, and was puzzled why Victoria had let Dasha out without a leash, as well as why she wasn't out with her. Turns out the little $$$$ rolled down the window, stepped out on the mirror to the hood, and proceeded to the ground. Fortunately she got scared and sat by the door.homeskillet, LoSt_AgAiN, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this.
