When I went through there regularly. I was surprised how early the very first snowfall. And... people skiing on that place east side of Eisenhower. If I remember right. It was September.

Wow. Thats the way it should be though. Keeps ppl from being boneheads and blocking the interstate because they get stuck. Or does it ? Theres always one guy right ? I just remeber seeing a sign when u cross thru cortez area , talking about the chain law and the fine associated with it if you didnt have them..... Maybe i should make a trip to denver this winter to get the full experience.

I was inspected in far eastern Colorado. They checked for chains. Yes it was winter.

EDIT: I remember a sign. Blocking the freeway because of no chains. $1,600

When it's over 100 degrees outside. This is the time to talk snow.
When it's below zero in winter. That's the time to talk 116f summer heat.

I just got home. Guess you can tell.
Been down to MO, and TX. Nice run.
Boss said he's working on a regular like that. Needs to come up with something on weekend from MO to Dallas area on weekend. The one in TX. 1,100 miles back here.

There’s two different styles of DEF filters. A big one and a small one. One is significantly more expensive. The small one I believe takes a 36mm socket. You can change it in about 10 minutes yourself.
