Remind me again as we get closer. I'll be sure to have some cold beverages.

An yep...usually it's still warm. This year is weird though. Summer has been all kinds of crazy. June was enjoyable. July was hell. August so far has been a bit bipolar. Been hot but really no humidity in August. Till today. For a 2 week stretch there, it was like I was in FL with the afternoon thunderstorms. Lots of tain.

I'll put out the welcome mat and Christmas lights...wait...I leave those up year round, so people can find me when I want to be found. ;)

I'm predicting a cold winter this year. We're due. Last couple have been rather warm and mild.

Sirscrapntruckalot - No need to bring alligators, we have our own.

Talk about going out of route....

Dispatch: Um...driver, the load is going to the opposite end of the country. Why are you going towards Florida.

Driver: I got a drop off this cat!

    Dispatch:

Have had to rebuild several of those when i was in the fertilizer business... A piece of pipe, a drill with drill bit, 2 bolts with nuts and washers, and a couple wrenches... About a $25 dollar repair.

Please let us know what the shop charges to fix that... I'm sure it will be something ridiculous like $300.

Edit: in a pinch one can remove the landing gear crank from one side and move it to the other... Just have to operate each landing leg separately, but it will get you moving.

I can't budge the bolt off the one side that's rotted / snapped off.

I thought about what you just described.

It's fully loaded and they had it cranked up so high, I can't get any weight off it.

And now the one side is lower, so it's afu, as is my back from F with it.

We are awake. We are awake, but not going anywhere.

    What an awesome F.

    The OM is not pleased.

Drop air bags on truck, 4 by four on fifth wheel air bags up. Weight off landing gear.

I thought Landstar didn’t let the trailer fleet get that old.
