Why is the hardest part of driving today getting approval to buy a part such as a mudflap? Seriously I don't need a road call to do 5 minutes of wrench work, just let me purchase ####e and reimburse me!

5 minute job took over 2 hours because of computers. Mudflap has been replaced, time to finish my movie and go to bed.

Fixed the gas lines on my daughters Pontiac. They literally engineered them to rust. Ran above tail pipe, wrapped in heat sheathing. Traps all the salt. Took me about 12 hrs. Finally finished at 2:00 am. What a pita. No more GMs for a while. I’m too familiar with their quirks. It’s been a pretty good car, despite the recalls. Time for someone else to own it. I fixed it the right way, so it’s safe. I’ll tell the buyer everything I know about it. Price it right. Better, that way everyone’s happy.

I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, but I've heard honey could be linked with SIDS. (sudden infant death syndrome)

A google search of "giving honey to an infant" came up with below.

Yes, babies younger than 1 year old should not be given honey. Clostridium bacteria that cause infant botulism usually thrive in soil and dust. They also can contaminate some foods — honey, in particular.

Never knew that, but I'm certainly all for making infants don't get botulism.

...Because the idiot on the other end of the phone thinks YOU are too much of an idiot to be able to tell one end of a combination wrench from the other.

We are nearing the homestead. The OM is suggesting we stay here for the night, then continue on to the communist state on Monday.
