I entered the state of AZ. I heard a voice in my head that sounds like Tommy Chong saying Dave’s not here. Guess I’m wrong if you’re home.

 

15 years adjusted; for the numbed of days you have been away driving, equals how close it is to being ripe.
More home time might hasten the day.

 

That brings up a great question for those you that live in a home alone.
When you leave on a trip for a few weeks do you shut the gas or electric of on your water heaters and shut off the oncoming water.
What about washing machine?
Years ago I came home after work one day the washing machine blew a hose (it was a steel braided line) and water was running out the garage.

 

This is the new Truck World truckstop, across the street from the Love's in Conneaut, OH.

Just some pics of the pumps and parking. For some reason the parking seems a bit under-utilized, while I notice the Love's parking is filling up earlier and earlier.

Just a few impressions of the new place:

First off, the two times I've been in there, I've walked right past workers, and not even simple acknowledgement. Even if I say "hi" first. I know a lot of people here hate the corporate "welcome to Love's", but I just like to have someone notice and greet me when I'm about to spend money in their store.

There's a food court with fried chicken and pizza.

I had the chicken tenders. I found them too salty, even more so than WingStop. And I like salt.

The pizza ranks below Hunt Brothers, and slightly above Subway pizza. I think.

Instead of the little trash cans around the parking lot, they have the small dumpsters all around. Very handy.

The mens room stalls are very clean. Of course, they're brand new.

I guess this place is a chain, but I've never seen it anyplace else.

I'm not going more than about 5 days now. I don't do that.
I have gone for three months at a time. Best to shut the water main. Turn off the water heater.

 

On I 80 near penn/ ohio border there is a truck world. Restaurant is good , there is a bar in there too. Hubbard ohio. Buffet in Sunday morning. Amish food mixed it it.
