An alternative to carpet? Granted it will have some form of a pattern. We intalled in our bathroom a vynil covered foam backed tile. The instructions say to just lay it down. Frankly tho we found using some ( a dab about a inch in diameter) RTV clear silicone kept them from lifting. The dab was once every 4 feet and at the end of the hallway. Now the wife wants it in the restt of thee home. Water resistant, soft under foot. It doesnt create a slip hazard at the showers edge. The foam makes it thermal resistant.

Now to find a link to the item. Now I dont remember where we got it. I seem to think it was one bundle of interlocking foam backed flooring. $27 from walmart covered the 8'x10' bathroom floor with a few to spare.
Heck of a deal under $800 for the man cave.

I leave everything on. I mean I turn everything off, but I'm not re-lighting pilot lights.

I give Sheila a heads up when I'm coming home, and she turns on the AC.

I have to settle for wood floors. Actually bamboo. What can I say? Came with the house. I'm slumming it. :)

So we're DEEP inside the communist state having just been unloaded.

Out of hours for the time being. It's almost like being TRAPPED, DEEP inside the communist state.

We have load ready, but are currently deemed fatigued and unsafe.

Large bowl of mini wheats, hopefully will help resume a rhinoceros sleep.

So when I heard Tommy Chong in my head this morning he was correct. I’m in beautiful Casa Grande waiting to be unloaded. Seems to be a bit of a fustercluck at Lucid motors this morning.

I wish I was back in the communist state right now. Been in Oregon/Washington for the last 2 days, and the air quality up here is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. My eyes, nose and throat all hurt. On top of that it's really humid, so the smoke kind of sticks to everything.
