    I wish I could be a fly on the wall when my dispatcher explains to the ops manager why she took this cheap load. I’m not privy to the rate but hay is historically cheap and when you only load 17 tons it’s a joke.

    To those of you that followed along this evening THANK YOU it was fun pretending to be at a bar holding court and believe me I would have bought 2 rounds. Man I miss socializing like humans are supposed to. Hopefully soon.

    Used to haul fresh cut alfalfa UT to L.A. ....in a dry van. They would send us back to the conveyor belt 2 or 3 times to be right at 79,900. Get unloaded then the genious in dispatch had us go to the truck wash to get washed out. Those trailers didn't smell very good after a few days baking in the sun....all that alfalfa trapped down in the T-rail clip bars...

    The crazy thing was....no shipper except dogfood cared. Dogfood would refuse the trailer....LOL
