Us in the cattle business call that silage feed... Under the right circumstances one could nearly get drunk off the smell alone... Lol

Used to load 4X4X8’s and take them to a shipper that then loaded sea cans with the stuff. One cool thing is the squeeze machine they used. Would make them almost half the size. Wonder what that smelled like when they swing the doors.

I went by a huge farm a couple months back, somewhere between seattle and spokane up there on 90 . A big hay farm. Saw a bunch of sea cans sitting next to the hay piles.. Had no idea they ship that stuff out overseas... interesting to me , american hay must be superior to whatever they are growing over there ?

Hey @Dale thompson you might want to keep the back open while you sitting. Gets hot enough inside that Connie, you might have a visit from some guys driving a big red truck.

In my younger days I hauled hay from Michigan to Florida in a reffer thought it was a big deal if you got 14 ton in the wagon. You young guys don’t know but before the population exploded in Florida you went begging for a load down there.

That would be one of the "special farms"...they guarantee a very low weed content. Just like the alfalfa out of UT...it gets shipped to Saudi Arabia....those multi-million dollar horses.
