One time in the late 70s in January it was real cold for about a week ( below zero) I loaded hay and carried the mail to Homestead the next morning. When they started to unload the hay was wet. Well they wanted to refuse the load. I said no your going to have to air stack it because it’s cold. They didn’t understand so I took my pulp thermometer stuck in a bale it read 26 degrees (it was 80 degrees and muggy) that took a while to sort out. I had to explain condensation to them.
