Beds and sofas... Looks like an eviction, student move day, or a dump run.

@D.Tibbitt you had mentioned liking the Missoula area before IIRC.

Did a delivery to a place in Stevensville, MT just down US93 from Missoula. Store owner says she was moving down there and building a house because Missoula was getting way too Liberal.

Place had a good vibe to me driving down the highway. Property seems more affordable than in the university town. Just something for the Idea pile.....

Yeah i like that area too. Ive been looking all around, i really love the dillon montana area , which is about an hour south of butte on i15, been looking really hard down there, i think thats where i will end up. Either there or over in marion where i go to the quarry at. Beautiful area... but coming from arizona , i cannot believe how expensive it is to live in montana. I could buy 3 brand new houses where my family lives in az, for the price of 1 average condition house in montana...

At least you can call road service. That happened to me a while back.I was able to drag it off I-10 about 7 miles, over to 90. Tire wrapped around the axle, took out brake sensor. I had to use my 1/4” die grinder. Took Me hours.Made a lot of noise, it was about midnight. The steel bead is very tough. State Trooper heard me and stopped, noted Lucky I wasn’t on the Interstate. Uhhhh Yeah, Good thing.Lol.

Thats what happened with my blow out last summer in baton rouge after i pet the stupid camel at the tiger truck stop... inside tire blew out , took out mudflap and mudflap bracket, took out abs line , and the rubber wrapped around the axle and brake drum. Me and the roadside dude spent like 30 minutes trying to pry that rubber out from the axle. What a pain

Your paying for the lack of cartels, smugglers, illegals, etc.

    ;)

Instead you get....rednecks, crazy people, cowboys, sheep, cattle, some normal people and one of the people running for President. Kanye...he bought a ranch in one of those states up there. That's enough reason not to move there for me. I couldn't live near someone who is running on the Birthday Party ticket.

I'm just kidding about AZ. I loved it there, and the cost of living was nowhere near as bad as anywhere else I've lived. My only complaint an it only applies to those who smoke, is the cost of cigarettes. Was expensive last time I was there. Everything else tho was either the same or less when it came to groceries.

I had a nice place on the North side of Tucson. 400 bucks a month for rent for an apartment. That was considered the nice side of town then. Good luck getting that on the east or west coast and not having roommates, crime, etc etc. I know in DC even a ghetto ### place will cost you more.

Joking aside about Montana and those states...I like open country and lack of people. If I had to move inland Montana and the other states up that way would be one of the options.

Sirscrapntruckalot - I blame the stolen beef thread for this...

Have a cousin that lives near Livingston. Sister has been helping him through some medical stuff. Now she is looking at Columbus, Of course she wants one of the old historic houses down town.

Looking at that stuff makes me appreciate my modest priced place here even more.

Went thru livingston today and delivered just south of columbus couple weeks ago. That is one thing i have found , montana must have like the coolest small towns in the whole country... but none of them are affordable it seems like .. Dont u live over in spokane area or somewhere around there ?
