I tend to make most food at home as well. When I do have a dog, usually it’s Chicago style.

 

A second piece that played into my decision to get my trailer was the Low Quality of the trailers in the fleet at that time.

Many times I would hook to the least offensive empty I could find. At that time most seemed to have bad tires, flaky ABS systems, and expired 120 day inspections.

One time I was surprised that I hooked to a 3 month old trailer. Was great till I realized it was spring ride and my next 3 loads where "air ride required". Took me over a month to off that P.O.S.

Got tired of playing trailer roulette in the Russian style....

 

Did you get a plate trailer or a so called heavy spec....?

Neither.... It was a 2004 GD SSL. Logistics post on 2 foot centers for the first 20 feet or so. 4 foot centers to the back. Stainless walls, translucent roof, and Aluminum floor other than 2 planks at the out side edge.

Got it from Mount Trailer in Portland (Great Dane Dealer). They were fleet trade ins from A&M who runs mostly I5 Corridor...

Nope.

Had a major engine concern and did not want to commit to running enough to pay off the repairs/rebuild/replace the engine. Neither was I interested in committing to buy a different truck. So sold the equipment and moved on.
