    Would be better to have something else before walking.

    Guy I'm with. Seems to be convinced I can spend all this time on truck repairs. But not get paid for it.
    I've had my eyes open. Have a chance at a FedEX dedicated. Home every night. Off weekends. Only problem I'm seeing. The company checking me out for FedEX. They're incompetent. "Cannot Verify" seems to be their de facto way of doing business.

    I woke up. Ready to go. Got an appointment at 9 to get truck looked at. Then off to the shipper to pick up.
    I should have picked up already. Just head out today. This is another run to Dallas. Getting squeezed again. But hopefully not like last week. That was ridiculous.
    Best talent my boss has is excuses.

    Trip 3,441 miles. 440.6 gallons. 7.80 mpg.
    Leg 1,102 miles. 139 gallons. 7.92 mpg.

    I'll reset the leg after I deliver. Trip includes 244 miles DH.
