Finally got the schrader valve seated good, and re did a line I had recently repaired. I think it might have been loose. I’ve checked everything, except inside the Truck. Green dye shows up real good, if there’s a leak. I’ll know tomorrow.

 

No way to do a dye and look for the leak with an ultraviolet light?

So I have mad notions that I need to make a genset with one of these. An 8 hp Lister engine (belt drive). It burns 2 gallons over 10 hours run time. The India rupee is so devalued. 23,000 rupee comes to under $314.

Ok so I got a response from India. Minimum expenditure is $3000 or 10 units. No response on shipping. Tho the makers cant sell complete engines anymore. Yet they can sell CKD or complete knock down (engine in parts). Oh and they arent in business as covid means they cant get anyone to show up for work. LOL

 

I’ve got the ultraviolet kit, but it’s not needed. The green tinted oil is so bright, it shows up real good without the light....... That video is hilarious!!! I blew a turbo once, on a 2 stroke Detroit, it shot flames so high, if left a big black ring on the bottom of the overpass!!! Whole Truck lit up inside, I almost jumped out. I thought there was a fire under the Doghouse!! It was crazy.
