Well, they took away my Albany, NY and are sending me to Metro Atlanta.

The load still pays pretty good but.....y'know, Atlanta.

Dam shame that the Chinese Buffet place in Monteagle is probably still closed, or at least still not doing the buffet. Guess I could make a few phone calls while the truck is loading.

 

If u ever get up to missoula . The truck wash at exit 96 do a real good job. Its an automatic wash system but they scrub it by hand inside the bay then send u threw the automatic part. 45 for truck 80 for truck and trailer. Plus since its automatic its like 15 to 20 mins per truck and then ur gone.

So an update on the mad notions of getting a Lister diesel. I found a diesel distributor in Peterboro Ontario called Just live off grid. He offers a 6hp for 2505 usd and a 12hp for 2705 usd. Tho because of weirdness with politics and customs. We can only buy these as "air compressors". There is a kit that one gets shipped to the owner that allows the owner to alter the overbuilt compressor and make it an engine. Basically rermove a plug and install the injector and injector pump as well as the cam shaft. Too funny. If some one wanted it shipped too their door? The average cost is $400.

A 4 pole generator (5kw for the 6hp or 10kw for the 12hp) is available for 700ish dollars. These generators are belt driven to double the rpms. The engines are set for 650 rpm. It should be noted, these engines will need some paint. The compressors were tore down and pressure washed as the Indian manufacturers like to ignore the rigors of removing detrimental casting sand from the assembled compressors (Oh good gravy!). Finally, a 6hp burns 3 cups of fuel per hour and the 12hp burns 3 pints of fuel per hour.
