    Over typical 16" OC Framing with a 3/4" Subfloor, I screwdown the Existing Subfloor, apply a Coat of Thinset Mortar Mix under 1/2" Cement and Screw that down. That should be extremely stable for Ur future Tile

    Edit - don't use the Pre-Mixed Thinset or Grouts that are available, they can cause U trouble in the future
