My family is from the Cookeville area. A little town due north of there called Celina. We came up north and became Yanks a while back, though.

I just watched the Western Express load securement video on suicide coils.

I feel I'm now confident to do flatbed.

Oh yeah, I’m very familiar with Celina, We were in Livingston, actually Hilham, if you’re familiar, east of Celina, maybe 10 miles. Lot of folks up here, from there. My mechanics last name is Dale, as in Dale hollow, once another local Driver and I figured out we were related. He mentioned going to Dale hollow for a vacation. We had grown up in the same neighborhood, never knew, his aunt married my Uncle, family’s land was right behind ours. Lol. Good chance, we’re related, Lol. I’m sure you’re familiar with the common names. We know all those folks, Unbelievable how many of my friends are from the area. GrandParents or Parents came here in 30s, 40s, 50s. Hilham is stuck in time. Never changes. I like Celina the best, right on the Lake.

I only lived there, for a couple years, in 67-68, my Dad decided to get away from Detroit for a while. My Mom left him there, took Us home to Louisiana, for a year, then back to Detroit. Back and forth, I also lived in Mississippi, and Texas, all by the age of 7. It was a great experience looking back. Despite the obvious.

I used to own a 1926 Model T Ford. I claimed she was my lover. Because there were times she would screw me so badly. LOL

Some of those bozos are underage drivers whom havent had a decent driving lesson.

Dealers will only offer one third of a trucks actual value. I would not be surprised if they only offered 5k. Yet the other headache with vehicles is that dealers generally only want something newer than 10 years old. An older vehicle is considered an asigned risk. That means banks will charge a higher fee to finance it. Tho I am guessing Dave is a finance officer of sorts. He will offer you the truck with a reasonable fee with out a dealers costs. The only difference is in the payment. I wont go into details yet what he is offering is affordable.
