Does the tax money pay for storm sewers?
If so it’s a good ideal.

    tramm01 Thanks this.

It does and does not. It is a way to increase property taxes without increasing property taxes. It's similar to Walker's idea to make I94 a toll road in WI or increasing vehicle registration fees to avoid increasing the gas tax.

I think it's really a way to figure out how to pay meth heads on disability every time it rains, while applauding their work to combat destructive climate change. I have no proof. Just a educated guess.

Neighbor came by and rotated the tractor engine by hand. Watched #2 piston not move. So now I have the remove the oil pan that is set up to be non removable. Tho I am hoping if I remove the bolt with the arrow on it in the picture, that I can rotate the front axle and get the oil pan away from the alignment pins to drop the pan. Too bad perkins didnt put a sump pan on the engine.

Maybe use a come-along to keep the weight from spreading the axle

I had to split mine last year to change the hub and shaft to the hydraulic pump.
But I was able to put blocks under the motor to support it where you can’t because you have to get to the oil pan. Ugh
I put a new fan belt on it while I had it apart.

    ALERT:

I’m in Barstow. It still sucks.

Also...it isn’t raining. Confidence is high that I will avoid the rain until at least Thursday when I leave Portland, Oregon.

Oh and the hail and hard rain that fell over Vail Pass and on and off all the way to Grand Junction, Colorado got maybe 60% of the dried and crusty suicide bugs off my tractor. Otter very happy.
