Freezing fog is real crappy to deal with driving or not. Sleet is another real mess, going from frozen to slush then back to frozen, then Ice. In places like Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and the other “ northern tier” states, the pack ice is probably the nastiest. That Is one slippery surface.
Add wind into that mix and you have an interesting time ahead. Fortunately with a flatbed/stepdeck wind is less problematic. It has its moments for sure, just not quite as bad a vans.

We get that up here a lot too. It can be below zero F and the fog somehow contains moisture and freezes to everything. Back in the days of halogen headlights it wasn't that big of deal, they were warm enough to keep the ice from forming. But LED headlights made it a different story. The heat sink is on the rear so the lens stays cold. That fog would stick and freeze, and then you have barely any headlights. They finally came out with heated lenses a few years ago and that fixed the problem. The windshield still builds it up tho, tough for the defrost to keep a hole big enough to see through. For me, the only worse thing is freezing rain. Time to park it.

I heard this song on the radio.. I had not heard it in years.. I know it’s an old Bruce Springsteen song.
One thing I agree on, is The Band is in the rock and roll hall of game since 1994...should’ve been earlier but hey..
Inducted by Eric Clapton, if interested.

    Well done, judge.

    Where's Robbie?
Oh, yeah, he's down at the bank cashing the checks.
But it's ok. We'll get our split.
