    Hey hey hey hey!

I HAD escorts, two of them.

    Melinda and Susan.

    They did a great job.

The Uber back to Rapid City did set me back.

Relax, the meme wasn't for you, it was for the doofus who bludgeoned a dry van to the bulkhead with a stack of roofing trusses. Does sound a bit like what DOT might say, though. LOL

    Oh. My. Gawd.

The temperature is going to plummet to 54°F in ND tonight. Should I idle and curl into the sleeper in a fetal position?

That's the poem the Russians use to activate their sleeper agents in "Telefon".

    Meh...
    Minus 20 Degrees.JPG
That was at 11:30 when I parked near Fargo. Reefer load, still new to reefer, left it on continuous, not thinking. Woke up to it shutting down from freezing up at 4 am. -30 by then maybe?

I don't plan to do it again. The miles were good and the pay was decent, but these idiots planned at 63 mph average with 65 mph trucks, and we went over the Cascades and Donner from ND and MN quite frequently pulling 42k+.

They ran me off when they took me out of a manual Freightliner I liked (other than the OnGuard) and put me in a Vulva with a snot-green D13 sewing machine and an iSh-t trans. Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, they disabled the manual mode so I couldn't manually select another gear.

To be perfectly honest, I had health issues beginning to rear their ugly head as well, but that truck was 90% of the reason I put my notice in within two weeks of getting it. And from what I hear, they have driver-facing cameras now. Such is what happens when people with college degrees and no CDL are given the reins of a trucking company.
