    I think the folks in this thread are far better qualified than NASA to solve this perplexing mystery. Might take years but I have faith we will give 100% effort to solving it.

    Not sure what NASA will come up for an answer, but they did make a graph for dating and marrying women a few years ago. It's amazingly accurate.

    When I switched carriers last year I used the wheel remover and then 3m adhesive remover from autozone, works great to get the sticky stuff and little bits of decal off.

    Hair Dryer.
    It doesn’t get to hot, turns glue loose and peels off easy.
    If it don’t peel back, keep running the dryer back and forth.

    Until you find that the last paint job didnt use any hardener and the paint peels off as well. Been there, done it.
