    Well, inverters are a problem. I ran fridge on the 1000w, no problem. Coffee pot on the 1500, and it shuts off. I threw away a perfectly good coffee pot yesterday, since it wouldn’t work on either one. Today the other coffee pot quit. I unplugged the fridge, hooked coffe pot to the 1000w, Inverter started smoking. Had to turn it on/ off about 5 times, to make a pot. It then kept working fine. Unplugged it anyways. You get what you pay for. They were display units. Been bouncing around in Truck for 6-7 yrs. at least.The 1500w just beeps constantly, as if it’s overloaded. The 1000w, don’t think I trust it, even for just the fridge, since it was smoking. Everything’s wired, fused properly. Now my cab blower motor quit.Dealers got one $95.Now it just started working. Go figure. Got a spare for the bunk, going to pick one up for the cab.All in all, can’t complain, minor stuff. Got till Monday to run 700 miles. Good to be back in the saddle again.

    My 1500 does the same . Beeps constantly when making coffee. But makes the coffee just fine.

    Sounds like your overloading the inverter. What is the coffee pot rating?

    I have this one in my truck
    3000 WATT PURE SINE POWER INVERTER 12 VDC to 120 VAC

    Runs a refrigerator and a microwave at the same time.

    Phase 2 of the Escape from New York is complete. The new home 20 in Tennessee is officially ours. At 4 months and counting, I'm wondering if the closing on the current residence will ever occur.
