The inverter ratings are always overated. Personally just get a harbor freight inverter. I can make coffee with 2000 watt. The microwave trips it some times and the i cycle it on off and it works. But with their extended warranty if I smoke it , I can return for another. They have a 3 k inverter. To really make that level. You need 4 cables and probably more than 4 batteries. The batteries have resistance too. I have watched YouTube videos normally a 2000 watt is good for about 1500 to 1800 watts of production. 95% of the inverters lie about what or watt they can do. My inverter is right over the battery box, behind the driver's seat. I used 0 or 00 gauge cables just one of each. The ends were from Wally world and I hammered / vice gripped them on. I should sodder (sp) the ends too, but it works currently..

Thankfully while in Tennessee we learned of the new wave of local toilet paper hoarding and were able to smuggle a couple 18 packs north. Apparently there are more toilet paper trees in Tennessee than New York so you can get all you want down there.

Have you ever logged on duty for pre trip then found out you need to take a crap like a rhinoceros?

That's a good time to pre-trip between the dollies and drive axles. No one will notice you there.

According to some Utube videos on my inverters. They can handle short surges almost double the amount. Surprised to learn that. They suggested running the vehicle. So alternator is keeping power consistent, for heavy loads. The 1500 is toast. It shows overload all the time, with nothing plugged in. The 1000 works, just smoked once, from coffee pot. Probably won’t last long either. I only paid about $50 for all three inverters. I’ve got a 600 also. No idea if it works.
