Yes I am beginning to question the sanity of returning to the road

 

Ok so i thought we had got one over on the communists today. I only bought 24.66 worth of merchandise at petro ontario. The fee is 25 dollars to park or 25 dollars worth of receipts.

So i rolled up to the gate and gave buddy my reciepts, he looked at them longer than usual. Obviously doing very tough math equations. about 20 seconds later i see the gate open and he hands me back my reciepts.

" YES I GOT ONE OVER ON THEM!!!" I said to myself

So we rolled west towards chino for our pickup only to find out when we get there that our load had been cancelled the day before, and the broker didnt inform myself or my agent about this.....

I guess that is the way the communist system works u take 34 cents from them, and they take ur entire revenue for the day....

So we pointed the truck eastbound and came home empty . live to fight another day.

Are you trying to claim you are crazy but not dumb?

You should question decisions like this. Questioning those decisions is not dumb.

It may come back to financial motivation..... Can you make enough driving to pay somebody else to take care of your stuff at home and pay for the home?

Can you earn enough at home to not go back on the road?

 

Well i can relate to what he is talking about. When i am trucking id rather be home and when im home id rather be trucking. It is an incredible life to live
