Sitting in Natchez, only Fuel stop in town. Rude awakening, had to move the Truck. Blocking customers parking on the side. Now I’m parked next to a Chicago Volvo. It’s not white, but still butt ugly.

If the fuel system is really infected, that could be the main problem. That bacteria gets in everything.

Back before the overhaul, I blew an injector. I used some of it, as wishful thinking. I noticed the tanks were black inside. It didn’t clean the tanks at all. Thought it might be carbonized, or whatever they call it, happens on newer Trucks mainly. The FS1000 filter I use catches everything. Still flows good, almost completely plugged. I’ve had this before. Some more treatments should clean them up good. I must be sucking air, probably through the shutoff valves. I’ve yet to pressurize the fuel system to look for leaks. I was mainly concerned that it showed up after the overhaul. But now I think it might just be the slime. Hope that’s all it is.

Well my sunrise delivery turned into a pre dawn one... I've now got 20 mins before the longer part of a split berth is done, then it's a short hop to my back haul.

I'm doing a little local/regional this week to stay close to home as the wife is still not 100% after her C-section.

Well, my 10hr turned into a 13hr rhinoceros sleep.

I'm annoyed with myself, but I'm well rested.

If the Missus were here, she'd say, "Now don't go wasting all your good rest energy being annoyed with yourself."

I'm glad to see that more than a few of the WIIS crowd are "feeling lazy". I took four days off and I didn't want to get back in the truck, either. But here I am. And I don't really feel like starting out, but I gotta get going before the tain turns to snow. Later!

Had a 9400 and ISX, picked up a serious problem from company tanks. Took almost 6 months and several gallons of biocides, two tank drains/steam cleans to clear up. Carried a case each of filters.
One time I put a whole gallon of the biocide in, thats 600 gallons worth. The symptoms were bad fuel mileage, no performance, smoking, stuttering/sputtering

Trucks are like pizza or spaghetti. There's some that's just better than others.
