I grew up on a farm butchering pigs, cattle and foul. I just never took a liking to the other parts of the animals. I'm more of a prime cut kind of guy. Grandpa was a PA coal miner and would eat whatever you put in front of him. Whenever we took him to a nice restaurant he always orders sweet breads. Of course he was Welsh and grew up in the old country eating anything.

Scrapple just goes well with eggs it’s not a stand alone like bacon (the king of pork products) its place is the breakfast table as a side dish. When you see a loaf it kinda looks like floor sweepings.

It could be worse Dave. You could find the road in front of you washed away and have to back up foor twenty miles

I missed one of those yesterday......

I got on I30 west, noticed my cb was off and turned it on........

Just in time to hear ....."get off at 221 or 216, there's a semi on its side at 208 blocking both lanes. 216 is your last chance, this one's gonna be awhile".

I ran without one for years, and now this radio has saved my schedule about 6 times in the 2.5 years I've been back out here.

Well, better get rollin'. I stopped at the Road Ranger truckstop off the New Boston exit off I-30 in Texas.

They got a hot deli, you can get a hot breakfast sammich to go, or you can get a go box of scrambled eggs, hash browns and a biscuit, or huevos rancheros with refried beans, or any combo in between.

Coffee tasty and hot, staff very welcoming.

I wonder if they sell barbecue later in the day? I'll check into it next trip.
