What if it Snows?

More than one of us deck types around these parts.

 

Be glad it wasn’t today. This afternoon it was a dead stop on the 5 NB. 8 miles, started around Castaic, all the way up the grade.

 

Gee. It isn't Friday evening. That's usually when the mayhem starts on the Grapevine. Hopefully I can get through there tomorrow mid day.

 

Yeah I see that daily going through Reno there are 3 places with county sheriff's either sitting in the center or on the shoulder then one of them hits on someone and they all hang up and everything inside of car ends up on top of it. Strange things is they usually either pick on newer suv's or duallys

I have had multiple guys not be able to find the truck. One even after he was texted a Google map satalite image of where the truck was.

One time I had an upper light issue so we swung thru a company shop at the end of day. I told the guy that I would let him know where we parked once I got out of the shop bay, but it would be about an hour. It turned into a three ring circus - the problem ended up being an abs relay on the tractor causing bad ground. I missed my trainees calls while kibitzing with the mechanics. Trainee walked the lot, couldn't find me so he called ops complaining I ditched him at an OC and left with his gear. Didn't think to check the last place he saw me.

Ive seen the exact same set up on I-80 EB in Nebraska... Cant remember the mile marker... But somewhere mid state... IIRC.

Just let us know if and when you leave the PNW or Western Coast... So we can know to expect bad weather.

I think a "Where is Otter" thread is an awesome idea... It would be like a public service. Less than desirable weather seems to follow him everywhere.

 

Nice looking Large Car ya got there... What I wouldnt give to be back in something like that again. But I'd prefer a bullrack behind it, lots of lights... No chrome, I hate polishing!
